Spotlight on: Defining Spiritual Presence

Since it is Monday, it is the perfect time to spotlight Defining Spiritual Presence , “[t]hat certain charisma that’s rooted in living out loud in the moment . . . or that growing sense that you might be leafing out in sunshine.”

We like to think of our beautiful rose garden as a calm, peaceful oasis where you can relax, unwind and collect your thoughts. If our garden provides that experience during the daytime, Greenwoman’s site is definitely where you want to head when the sun goes down.
Designed by Ceeci , Greenwoman’s prose is nestled amid a night sky full of twinkling stars. Greenwoman says she “consider[s herself] a mystic, with an interest in Buddhism, shamanism, Sufism, and ecstatic meditation practices from around the world. My personal goal in life is to follow the calling of my soul’s heart and to leave this world with a legacy of love and joy for my family, friends and students.” She describes herself as a meditation facilitator, spiritual guide, Reiki Master Teacher, shamanic healer and bead artist, all of which she writes about. If you want to learn more about those topics, this site is a great place to begin your research.

Greenwoman believes in the power of community prayer and “collective focus,” so each Monday she lights a prayer candle on her site and encourages others to pray with her “for the help, health, strength and wisdom of all concerned,” as opposed to asking for specific outcomes. She says that she sends her “loving energy to be used in whatever way is most needed to secure the best outcomes for all concerned.”

Anyone can participate, using the graphic provided there or one of your own choosing. Just post about your own prayer vigil — to the deity or higher power in which you believe — on your site and then leave a comment and link for Greenwoman because she will “come pray with you” as can others who visit “because there’s power in sang ha and there’s power in joined prayer. Let’s be strong together and help as we may.”

Greenwoman and Defining Spiritual Presence embody the spirit and mission which led us to establish the Magical Rose Garden, so we are pleased and happy to put them in the spotlight today.
